The Leaf River Estuary Lodge is located in northern Quebec; the
region known as Nunavik. This is a sparsely populated region, rich
in wildlife and world-class fishing for arctic char and atlantic
salmon.
In Nunavik there are 14 Inuit villages
located along the shores of Ungava Bay and Hudson’s Bay. To
get to the Lodge, one travels by First
Air jet plane from Montreal
to Kuujjuaq (formerly known as Fort Chimo), and from there to Tasiujaq
by Air Inuit prop jet.
From Tasiujaq, you’ll be taken by powerboat to the lodge on
the Leaf River Estuary.
